Laurent A. Niddam, Esq

PROFESSIONAL CAREER

Laurent Niddam is a US and French attorney admitted to the New York and Paris bars. Mr. Niddam specializes in international transactions and dispute resolution. His experience includes advising and representing local and global foreign clients in transactions, litigations and negotiations involving joint ventures, protection of foreign investment, M&A, project and corporate finance. Mr. Niddam has represented clients in many fields of activity and acted as counsel in numerous international arbitration proceedings. Mr. Niddam also has trial experience in domestic cases involving foreign parties.

Mr. Niddam was born in 1960. He graduated from Columbia University (LL.M with honors) where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and an editor of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. Mr. Niddam also graduated from the University of Paris II (LL.B with honors in private and international commercial law and LL.M with honors in private international law and the law of international trade).

Mr. Niddam is the author or co-author of various publications on dispute resolution. He regularly lectures at domestic and international conferences and is a member of numerous professional organizations and committees. Mr. Niddam is fluent in English and French.

Dr. Gábor Faludi is a Hungarian attorney admitted to the Budapest Bar Association. Dr. Faludi carries out his activities as an attorney through Dr. Faludi Gábor Law Firm. He received his JD, summa cum laude, from Eötvös Loránd Faculty of State and Legal Sciences in 1976. He obtained his PhD with a thesis on copyright licensing agreements. He also attended Columbia University (graduate of the Summer Program in American Law, 1981). Dr. Faludi is an Associate Professor of Law at Eötvös Loránd University. He is also a board member on the Hungarian Association for the Protection of Industrial Property a member of the Copyright Experts Committee, the Council for the Protection of Intellectual Property attached to the National Patent Office and the Electronic Telecommunication Arbitration Board. Dr. Faludi is the author of numerous articles on intellectual property law. He is also a regular lecturer at symposiums on international copyright and new technology issues. Dr. Faludi has been co-operating with the Firm since 1998 as Of Counsel, in addition to his other legal activities. He currently specializes in civil, commercial, in particular in IP and E-Commerce law. Dr. Faludi is fluent in English and German.
